The Petzl FREINO Carabiner with Friction Spur is ideal for adding or adjusting friction during a descent. The spur helps increase friction for improved decent control with a heavy load. The rope can be easily inserted into the spur without having to open the carabiner. The FREINO features a TWIST-LOCK automatic locking sleeve that can be unlocked by a simple rotation. The keylock system helps prevent the carabiner from snagging during maneuvers.
