The 3M E-A-R flexible fit probed test plugs are equipped with a probe tube for fit testing using the 3M E-A-Rfit dual-Ear Validation system. Should not be used for hearing protection. These are a specially probed version of the standard earplug. Test plugs can be used with the validation system to ensure that the proper fitting of hearing protection.
